Dr. Parimal Kansagra, affectionately known as 'Dr. K', has been practicing cosmetic and implant dentistry in California for nearly 3 decades now. He earned his Master's degree in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in 1982 from GDCH, India under the guidance of an excellent oral surgeon Dr. S.K. Dewan. After moving to California, he would immediately attend the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) to complete the California Dental Board Examination. Dr. Kansagra then attended a special course provided by a cosmetic and restorative dentist, Dr. James Dunn, at Loma Linda University (LLU) for cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He would then join the Oral Bioesthetic Institute for training on full mouth reconstruction. Dr. Kansagra is still continuously expanding his knowledge and skills with restorative and surgical implant dentistry. He has attended numerous conferences and courses put together by various organizations including:

• Mentored by well known implantologists including Dr. Hilt Tatum, Jr., Dr. Jack Lemon and Dr. Ashok Patel
• Special surgical training course on Maxillary Sinus Graft by Dr. Hilt Tatum, who introduced the surgical technique of sinus graft in implant dentistry
• "Advanced Implant Therapy" at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with Dr. Sascha Jovanovic

Dr. Kansagra now teaches implant surgery to dentists in southern California through seminars organized by the Boston Institute of Dental Implantology and Bone Augmentation.

Dr. K has lived in California for over twenty years in the city of Diamond Bar. He is a dedicated family man, raising his four children – Brinda, Kartik, Radha and Parth – along with his lovely wife, Saila. He also believes in giving back to his community and thus has served as a committee member in various social and academic organizations including:

• Judge and Presenter for over 10 years for the "We Love to See you Smile" award in the Miss Diamond Bar Pageant
